Morgan Meighen Announces Completion of Purchase of Historical Building, 10 Toronto Street

TORONTO, Ontario  --  Morgan Meighen & Associates Limited announces the successful closing of the purchase of the property located at 10 Toronto Street, Toronto, Ontario by the real estate affiliate of the Company.

The building at 10 Toronto Street, one of the City’s longest surviving stone buildings with origins going back to the 1850s, is located in Downtown Toronto’s financial core.  It has a storied history, built for the Province of Upper Canada as the No. 7 Post Office, later to be tenanted by the Bank of Canada and, more latterly, Argus Corporation Limited.  The intention is to conduct restoration work on this well recognized Toronto landmark to which Morgan Meighen intends to relocate its permanent offices.
